So by buying it you are in essence future proofing on the home theater side but are able to use the headphone codec now for gaming, etc. The issue is that there doesn't seem to be ANY streaming services that are using it so it's impossible to test the 'X' part on my Atmos/X receiver. 'Atmos for headphones' doesn't seem to actually simulate channels unless it's being fed an Atmos signal.I may be wrong but I just can't seem to recognize any channel separation during use on non-Atmos soundtracks.ĭTS:X, however, based on it's design is supposed to add channel separation and simulate height meta on even NON spacial audio.so I have been, after extensive testing been able to verify that while using headphones, it's working as designed.
I went ahead and reinstalled after, ascertaining what I believe is happening with DTS:X vs Atmos currently. DTS Sound Unbound es un programa que te permite desbloquear, de manera gratuita, DTS:X para el cine en casa, así como acceso a la prueba gratuita de DTS Headphone:X para amplificar y mejorar el sonido de tus videojuegos. And btw, Arctis 7 and 9 (they're the same just one has extra BT for connecting to phone Discord) sound better than Arctis 1. You can also buy DTS Sound Unbound but personally I like Atmos more.
